It is possible to add alerts from the chart by right-clicking a specific place on the chart. If the alert is triggered, the blue lightning bolt is displayed on the chart.

Note: If the alert was created from the chart and it has been triggered, it will not display on the sidebar widget. It will only appear on the chart as a blue icon.

When the lightning bolt displays on the chart and you hover over it, a popup will appear, providing details about the alert.

To add an alert, right click on position where you'd like the alert trigger to be and select Add Alert:

You will then be presented with a dialog box to specify the details of the alert you wish to trigger.

Set the necessary parameters according to your needs, then click Create:
