The Sidebar is located on the left side of the StocksToTrade Main window.
It is a dedicated container designed to display quickly accessible information. The available widgets for the Sidebar are as follows:
| Widget | Description |
| Watchlist and Scans | Will display your Custom Watchlist, Top Scans, Custom News Scans, Custom Twitter Screener, and Halt/SRR Monitor. |
| Alerts | Will display any alerts you have set and if they have been triggered. |
| Trading Orders | This widget is one of two ways to place orders. This also can be used to see your open positions. |
Sidebar Tools
The Sidebar currently provides icons for displaying the following widgets: Watchlists & Scans Icon, Alerts Icon
, and Trading Orders Icon

Hiding the Sidebar Tools
You can hide the sidebar tools by clicking the left-pointing arrow located at the center of the toolbar:
Hiding the Widgets
You can hide the widgets to create more space for working with your charts by clicking the button located in the bottom left corner:
Resizing the Sidebar
You can resize the Sidebar horizontally at your convenience by positioning your mouse over the right edge of the sidebar and dragging when the Resize Icon appears (two opposing arrows separated by two vertical bars).
Resizing Sidebar Widgets
You can resize the Sidebar Widgets vertically at your convenience by positioning your mouse over the bottom edge of the widget and dragging when the Resize Icon appears (two opposing arrows separated by two horizontal bars).
