Mac OS X Installation Warning: "StocksToTrade" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer

When you run StocksToTrade on a Mac, you may encounter the following message: "StocksToTrade" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer

This is due to the GateKeeper feature in Mac OS X.

As a temportary measure, and in order to be able to run the application without this warning, you will need to apply the following steps:

  • In the Finder, launch System Preferences and the select Security & Privacy setting.
  • Click the lock button if it appears locked, and enter the administrator password.
  • To enable Gatekeeper, select “Anywhere” under "Allow apps downloaded from:"

Your settings for "Allow apps downloaded from:" should match the following screenshot:
