The Basics widget is displayed by default in Total View when opening a new Stock tab.
You may enable or disable the Basics widget by using the Basics button ()
It displays the following information for the currently open stock as the default setting:

The highest stock price on a given trading day. |
Low |
The lowest stock price on a given trading day. |
Open |
The price that is the opening price of an exchange on a given trading day. |
Vol |
The number of shares traded on a given trading day. |
52 Week |
The average stock price from the last fifty-two weeks |
Vol Avg |
The average amount of stocks traded in a day or over a specified amount of time. |
MKT CAP |
The total dollar market value of all of a company's outstanding shares. |
Shares (Outstanding) |
The number of shares that are held by all shareholders. |
P/E |
The price/earnings (P/E) ratio is a market prospect ratio that calculates the market value of a stock relative to its earnings by comparing the market price per share by the earnings per share. |
EPS |
Earnings Per Share - The portion of a company's profit allocated to each outstanding share of common stock. Earnings per share serve as an indicator of a company's profitability. |
Float | The float is the number of shares actually available for trading. Float is calculated by subtracting closely held shares -- owned by insiders, employees, the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan or other major long-term shareholders -- from the total shares outstanding. |
Previous Day | Shows the price of the previous trading day close. |
You can right click on every column and change the column to a custom option.
